Starting with a planetary gearbox that drives the burrs allowing a truly direct grinding path. This helps improve coffee quality and consistency by reducing the amount of pre ground coffee sitting in the burrs.
The new Convertible Device holder allows you to easily use your Group Handle, Brewer Funnel (eg: V60) or the supplied anti static grounds cup. Making this a very flexible grinder for the coffee enthusiast who needs a home grinder that is capable of being used for multiple devices.
The Macro and Micro adjustment of the grinder allows users to very quickly and accurately calibrate their grinder to get the perfect pour from their coffee every time. The Precision designed Etzinger conical blades provide an even distribution with very little heat transfer and thanks to the design of the coffee adjustment can be easily removed for cleaning without loosing the calibration of the coffee grinder.
The Built in Acaia scales allow for accurate dosing to within 0.1 of a gram and with 3 programmable doses the grinder becomes very versatile. This accuracy helps simplify and mitigate one of the areas that many amature baristas have in repeating the dose. By automating this process it makes making great coffee consistently much easier to achieve without the often painstaking loss of good coffee that comes with miss calculating your dose.
